Weekend Intensive course

On 4 and 5 July we held a two-day intensive course for beginners. 7 hours of training, split over two days - a solid dose of krav maga to spice up the weekend! Everyone who took part showed impressive progress, some well beyond what could be expected in two short days! This was so much fun to teach and those who took part seemed to have a good time. I say it was a success!

The timetables are a-changin'

I'm happy to see that the group of members has grown steadily, and most are regulars that come to almost every class. This is a great development, and I'm happy because it tells me that people must like the classes. But it also means that very soon there won't be enough space in the room that we have! First month of classes

We are now into the 5th week of krav maga classes at the North Merchiston club. There have been new people at the induction classes almost every week, and a fair number of people have joined the club. I’m very happy with the group we have so far; it’s a good mix of people, men and women, different ages, and different occupations (except for a surprisingly high number of computer scientists/IT people). They’re all good people who help each other learn and make the classes fun to teach and to take part in.
