Weekly morning classes, drop-in — 10–11am, Crags Centre, Edinburgh

Our Wednesday morning class is a smaller class and is ideal for those who would prefer to train in a friendly and welcoming women-only group.

Krav Maga is a highly effective, reality based self defence system, based on our instinctual responses which makes it easy to learn. You'll be amazed how much you can learn in a short space of time.

These are the same kick-ass krav skills we teach in our mixed classes: you'll learn the physical and tactical skills to defend yourself, in a fun and safe environment and get a great workout in!

You will learn:

  • Awareness of surroundings and "red flags"
  • Managing distance and boundary-setting
  • Striking effectively
  • Defending against common types of attacks
  • Mindset: becoming a Hard Target

Please wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. Bring a bottle of water to drink, and some hand sanitiser.

COVID and responsible training

Please read our Covid training guidelines carefully. You will be required to fill in a Health Questionnaire before attending your first session.

  • For each class you will be working with the same partner (or group of 3) for the whole class.
  • Keeping distance (training partner): We only close distance for the minimum time required and keep 1 meter distance at all other times. For example: Move in to do combination of attacks then move away
  • Keeping distance (all students): When not training, or not required for the exercise, you must maintain a 1 meter distance, including with the partner you have been training with.

New beginners are welcome in every class, no experience is required, and the classes are suitable for all fitness levels.

Most people feel a bit anxious before their first class. This is normal. You're doing something completely new. What surprises most people in their first session is how much fun they have!
